Hello! I’m Jazmine a Brand & Strategy Designer  based in Maryland.

I help brands grow through intentional strategy, efficient systems, and a human-first approach to storytelling. With cross-industry experience in education, fashion, wellness, and retail, I bring a strategic yet creative lens to every project—bridging vision with execution in a way that feels purposeful and lasting.

Over the past four years, I’ve shaped brand identities, digital experiences, and multi-platform campaigns for government agencies, startups, nonprofits, and small businesses.

One of the most defining experiences of my career was an internship with the District of Columbia Public Schools, where I helped rebrand the Ready for Pre-K program. That project led to a 30% increase in engagement and enrollment—proving the real-world impact of intentional design and strategy.

Since then, I’ve continued to guide visual and strategic direction for a range of clients—ensuring their brand not only looks good but communicates clearly, connects meaningfully, and scales intentionally.

Background and Experience

My Philosophy and Approach

I believe great strategy and design should resonate both emotionally and functionally. My work is grounded in clarity, cultural awareness, and collaboration.

A pivotal moment in shaping this perspective was my senior capstone, where I explored how cultural context influences color interpretation. Through research, surveys, and creative experimentation, I deepened my understanding of how diverse perspectives shape design decisions—and how brands can honor that through more thoughtful visual storytelling.

Whether I’m advising a founder, building a brand from scratch, or managing a cross-functional creative team, I lead with empathy, insight, and a drive to create purposeful work that stands the test of time.

Specializations and Expertise

While I have experience in a wide range of design disciplines, I specialize in branding, environmental design, web design, product design, and brand development/marketing, focusing on holistic brand experiences and immersive design solutions. My expertise is demonstrated through the following:

Blue promotional poster for 'Scribbles and Friends!' featuring a purple puppet with glasses, dressed in overalls and a striped shirt. There are also images of young children and puppets with the text 'Get Ready to' and 'Learn & Play'.

Holistic Branding Expertise: Crafting a comprehensive brand identity for Scribbles and Friends went beyond designing a visually appealing logo. I developed a cohesive brand strategy that resonated with both children and parents, ensuring the brand's essence permeated every touchpoint.

Colorful building blocks, colored pencils, and a book titled 'SHAPE IT' with a subtitle 'What can you make?,' surrounded by a teddy bear in a striped shirt with a red heart on its chest, on a wooden surface.

Innovative Product Design: Developing the Shape It Educational Toy for Irvine Nature Center required a deep understanding of child development. By incorporating eco-friendly materials and innovative features, I designed a product that fostered learning and exploration.

Immersive Environmental Design: Transforming Punk Nation Restaurant into an immersive dining experience involved more than interior design. I strategically integrated elements of punk culture, from graffiti-inspired murals to vintage decor, to create an edgy and vibrant ambiance.

Strategic Brand Development: Leading the brand extension strategy for Athene Chocolate Bar involved meticulous market analysis and consumer insights. The resulting marketing campaign and packaging design reflected a strategic approach to brand expansion while maintaining brand integrity.

User-Centric Web Design: Designing the Sewcially Inspired website prioritized user experience. I created an engaging platform for sewing enthusiasts with intuitive navigation, visually appealing galleries, and interactive features, ensuring a seamless browsing experience.

Creative Conceptualization: Conceptualizing the Emery Professional Development Center was about more than physical space. It was about creating an environment that nurtured learning and collaboration. Every detail, from layout to educational materials, was carefully curated to support the center's mission.

Effective Communication: Clear and transparent communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members was integral to project success. From initial brainstorming to feedback loops, fostering collaboration and alignment led to successful outcomes.

Overall, my expertise lies in creating holistic brand experiences across physical and digital realms. Combining creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of user needs allows me to deliver tailored solutions that leave a lasting impression.
