Sebrina Walter, the founder of Sewcially Inspired, is driven by a mission to reduce waste and carbon footprint through the ‘Nothing Wasted’ mindset, inspired by John 6:12 NLT. This ethos forms the core of the brand’s identity, emphasizing inclusivity and sustainability. At Sewcially Inspired, Sebrina aims to empower women of all sizes, challenge norms, and celebrate individuality. As the Art Director and Brand Designer, it was my mission to bring this vision to life through this project.
Brand Identity Development
As the heart of Sewcially Inspired, our brand identity development process is rooted in storytelling and craftsmanship. We craft a visual narrative that captures the essence of your brand, reflecting its values and personality through color, typography, and imagery.
Brand Color Meaning
Colors play a crucial role in defining a brand's identity and personality. They evoke emotions, convey messages, and create lasting impressions. By showcasing the meaning behind your brand colors, you provide insight into your brand's values, ethos, and unique identity.
In ancient times, purple hues were made with snail dyes that were extremely expensive, so only royalty and the wealthy could afford them. Purple represents magic, mystery, spirituality, creativity, dignity, royalty – and it evokes all of these meanings more than any other color. Reflection of devotion, wisdom, justice, fairness, and impartiality.
Mulberry has traditionally been associated with excitement, excess, and sometimes frenzied passion. Because it is in the pink color palette, Mulberry is associated with calming properties and is often associated with love, kindness, and femininity. Pink is commonly associated with all things feminine and girly. Some shades of pink are relaxing, while others are stimulating or irritating.
Orange is a color of optimism, charm, spontaneity and positivity. The color orange is a great choice during tough economic times as it keeps us motivated and helps us to see the positive side of things. In difficult times, orange provides us with emotional strength. It symbolizes change and movement in general. It is also strongly associated with creativity as well.
Red is an excellent accent color when it comes to design. When used excessively in designs, especially in its purest form, it can have an overwhelming effect. It is an excellent color to use when power or passion are desired to be conveyed. It is important to note, however, that red can be a very versatile color. The brighter the shade, the more energetic it is, while the darker the shade, the more elegant and powerful it is.
Its name comes from the precious metal gold, a color associated with luxury, success, achievement, triumph, royalty, and wealth. Many religious settings use gold to symbolize generosity and compassion, as well as divinity and power. Yellow is the most luminous color in the spectrum, and it holds our attention the most.
