The Color Pink
The color pink, for example, is thought to be a calming color associated with love, kindness, and femininity. Many people immediately associate the color with all things feminine and girly. Some shades of pale pink are described as relaxing, while very bright, vibrant shades can be stimulating or even aggravating.

More Pink in Political Culture
The color pink connection globally goes with The Women's March. The Women’s March was a worldwide protest on January 21, 2017, the day after the inauguration of President Donald Trump. It was prompted because several of Trump's statements were considered by many as anti-women or otherwise offensive to women. The color pink is unapologetically feminine, and it represents compassion and love for this movement and organization.
The Women’s March Global Unity Principles provide a fleshed-out framework for our vision. The Women's March on Washington convened a broad and diverse group of leaders to produce an intersectional platform known as the Unity Principles. Women’s Rights are Human Rights and Human Rights are Women’s Rights. We must create a global community in which women — including Black women, indigenous women, poor women, immigrant women, disabled women, lesbian, queer, bisexual and trans women, and women of every religious, non-religious, and atheist background — are free to care for and nurture themselves and their families, however they are formed, in healthy environments free from structural impediments.
